A Banner That Blends In Is Money Wasted. UAE Audiences See Hundreds Every Day.

Dubai is one of the most visually competitive markets on earth. A banner with the wrong hierarchy, wrong dimensions, or a multi-language layout that feels machine-translated does not just underperform, it signals to the viewer that the brand behind it is not serious. Three specific problems destroy banner effectiveness in the UAE.

  • 01
No Visual Hierarchy, the Eye Skips It Completely

A banner has 1.5 seconds to register before a UAE viewer moves on. When everything competes for attention, headline, offer, logo, tagline, nothing lands. The eye skips it and the budget is wasted.

  • 02
Wrong Dimensions for the Platform. Cropped, Distorted, or Penalised

A banner built at the wrong aspect ratio gets cropped by the platform or distorted by the printer. Instagram, Google Display, and UAE print vendors each have fixed specifications. Wrong dimensions means the ad never runs as designed.

  • 03
Language Versions Not Balanced. One Treats the Other as a Footnote

The UAE audience expects every language to carry equal visual weight. A second-language text block bolted onto the primary layout is not multi-language design, it is a translation. Viewers in every language notice when one is treated as secondary.

A banner that gets noticed pays for itself. One that blends in does not.

Run this checklist on your next banner brief before the designer starts

  • Clear visual hierarchy, dominant message visible in 1.5 seconds
  • Correct dimensions for every platform or print vendor
  • All languages visually balanced, not one as a footnote
  • Print file at correct dpi, 300dpi standard, 100-150dpi large format
  • Safe zones respected, no text cropped by platform
  • CMYK for print, RGB for digital, not the same file for both
If your brief skips any of these, the banner will underperform.

What We Design

What is Banner Design? What UAE Businesses Need to Know Before Printing or Publishing

Banner design is the craft of creating a visual communication unit, whether digital or physical, that delivers a single message to a specific audience within a fixed space and time window. In the UAE context, every banner must account for multi-language layout (scripts running in different directions), technical print specifications accepted by UAE-based vendors, platform dimension standards for social media, and outdoor advertising standards stipulated by Dubai Municipality and Abu Dhabi. What distinguishes professional banner design from template-based creation is the application of design thinking at every stage: who is the audience, where will they encounter this banner, how long do they have to absorb it, and what visual hierarchy will achieve the desired outcome. A Crafixx banner starts with those questions before a single element is placed on the canvas.

Format Guide Common banner formats used across UAE campaigns
Pull-up / Roll-up Events, exhibitions, reception areas, 850×2000mm standard
Digital Banner Online ads, website headers, social media. PNG/JPG/HTML5
Hoarding Banner Construction sites, outdoor, vinyl or mesh, large format
Fabric / Backlit Trade shows, retail, wrinkle-resistant, lightbox compatible
Vinyl Banner Retail promotions, outdoor events, weatherproof, grommeted
Building Mesh Facade wraps, large outdoor, perforated for wind resistance

Crafixx supplies print-ready files for every format: bleed-corrected PDFs for print, optimised PNGs/JPGs for digital, and HTML5 for animated web banners.

Design Tools

Design Tools and Output Formats We Work In

Tool choice determines file compatibility, scalability, and how fast a banner moves from concept to delivery. We choose based on the format, platform, and vendor requirement.

01

Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop

Industry Standard Vector and Raster

Best for: Print banner work that must scale without quality loss

Vector Files Print Banners Source File Delivery

All print banner work is produced in Adobe Illustrator (vector) or Photoshop (raster). Vector files ensure a print banner can be scaled from A3 to 20-metre hoarding without quality loss. Source files are supplied to the client on all plans that include source file delivery.

02

Figma

Digital and Web Banner Design

Best for: Digital banners, social assets, and web display ads

Pixel Precision Multi-Size Export Digital Banners

Digital banners, social media assets, and web display ads are designed in Figma for precision pixel alignment and easy export at multiple resolutions. A single master design can be exported simultaneously at all required sizes, reducing production time and ensuring visual consistency across every platform variant.

03

HTML5 & GIF Animation

Animated Digital Banners

Best for: Google Display Network and programmatic platforms

HTML5 Animated GIF Programmatic Ready

Animated banners are delivered as either HTML5 (for Google Display Network and programmatic platforms) or animated GIF (for platforms that do not accept HTML5). Animation is designed to communicate the core message within the first 3 seconds and complete the loop within 15 seconds.

04

Print-Ready File Formats

PDF, TIFF, EPS

Best for: Any banner headed to a UAE print vendor

Press-Ready PDF High-Res TIFF ICC Colour Profiles

Final print files are delivered as press-ready PDF (PDF/X-1a or PDF/X-4), high-resolution TIFF, or EPS depending on the vendor's requirement. All files include correct bleed (3mm standard, 5mm for large format), crop marks, and embedded ICC colour profiles.

What You Receive

What You Receive from Every Crafixx Banner Design Project

Every banner project is documented, organised, and delivered as a complete package, not a single file emailed without context.

  • Concept Design (1 Direction)

From an approved brief, you receive one fully realised concept direction, not a rough wireframe. The concept includes layout, typography, colour, imagery placement, and multi-language text positioning so you can evaluate the actual design, not a placeholder.

  • Revision Rounds

Up to two rounds of revisions are included in the standard project scope. Each revision round is based on your consolidated written feedback and covers layout adjustments, copy changes, colour alterations, and image swaps within the agreed concept direction.

  • Source Files

Source files in the working format (AI, PSD, or Figma) are included in plans that include source file delivery. All source files are organised by artboard, labelled, and packaged with linked fonts and assets. You retain full ownership on delivery.

  • Print-Ready Files

Press-ready files delivered at the correct specification for your chosen print vendor, including bleed, crop marks, correct resolution, and appropriate colour profile (CMYK for print, RGB or sRGB for digital). Named by format and size for easy handoff to your printer.

  • Digital Export Package

For digital banners, a complete export package is delivered: all required sizes in PNG and JPG at the correct resolution, animated GIF or HTML5 if applicable, and a file naming convention that matches the platform or campaign structure you are using.

  • Copy Text File

A separate text file documenting all copy used in the banner in every language version, useful for proofreading with your team, submitting to a translation checker, or reusing copy across other formats.

  • Size Specification Sheet

A one-page reference document listing every banner size delivered, the intended platform or print use, the file format, and the resolution. Useful for internal records, media buying handoffs, and future reprints.

  • Usage and Print Guidelines

A brief written guide covering how to use the delivered files, which file to send to which vendor or platform, and what not to modify in the final artwork. Prevents artwork being degraded during handoff to printers or media buyers.

Our Process

How We Design Your Banner. Six Steps from Brief to File Delivery

Every banner project follows a structured six-step process, from brief to delivery, so you know exactly what happens, when, and what you receive at each stage.

You fill in a short brief form (or we take it over a call) covering the purpose, audience, platform or print use, dimensions required, key message, and any brand guidelines you have. We confirm the scope, timeline, and deliverables before starting.

Our designer develops one fully realised concept direction on the agreed schedule after brief approval. The concept is not a rough sketch, it is a complete layout with real copy, real colours, and the correct multi-language text positioning so you can evaluate what the finished banner will actually look like.

Once the concept direction is approved, we complete all required size variants and apply final production standards: bleed, safe zones, colour profiles, and resolution appropriate to each output. Second-language text is reviewed for typographic correctness, not just translation accuracy.

You review the completed design and send consolidated feedback in one round. We apply revisions covering layout, copy, colour, and image changes within the approved concept direction. A second revision round is included if required.

After revision approval, we prepare the full delivery package: print-ready files, digital exports at all required sizes, source files if included in the plan, copy text file, size specification sheet, and usage guidelines.

Files are delivered via a shared folder link (Google Drive or WeTransfer). Large format print files above 1GB are delivered on request via direct transfer. All files are named clearly, organised by format, and accompanied by the specification sheet so your printer or media buyer can work from them without needing to call us.
